I happen to think this skullified number is a rockin’ way to pack up lunch; bet there’s a few small pirates around who’d agree!
This fantabulous lunch tote is “Grown and Sewn in the USA” by San Francisco company, Hero Bags, and comes with a custom name tag area, zipper closure and a flat bottom so it stands upright.

They also make a range of shoppers and bottle bags; I’m particularly loving their two bottle bag which just received an honourable mention in the 2010 Annual Design Review for Packaging Design. It’s an excellent eco savvy option for bottle shop purchases, and great to use when going to parties, BYO restaurants, etc.

I can’t think of many cooler ways to chase away spooky shadows in the kid’s room than with one of these excellent sun jars. A hit in orange or blue, I’m totally tickled by the addition of pink to Suck UK’s range.

A kid wowing lesson in capturing the sun; a solar powered cell stores direct sunlight and then automatically distributes it via a stunning night time glow .. sealed tight, the cordless light is terrific indoors and out, and is a totally child friendly way to calm night time fears!

The designers over at ♥ Envirosax have got it sussed when it comes to smart solutions to wasteful habits.
Taking aim at throwaway lunch and takeaway bags, their super chic Minisax is out to replace lunchtime rubbish with a handy, compact alternative that can be used over and over.
Made from Envirosax’s RPET fabric - a mix of 55% flat filament polyester and 45% Repreve® polyester (Repreve® is certifiably made from 100% recycled plastic) - the Minisax it’s fitted with an internal pocket: use it to stow takeaway coffees and when you’re done, fold the sax down into the pocket to be tucked away for next time - genius, no?

When is a tin can not just a tin can? When it’s had the Jack Bresnahan design treatment! Exemplifying eco efficient form, the UK product designer has retrieved a ubiquitous household item from the waste bin and given it nine new leases on life.

Money box, vase, toothbrush holder .. his clever tin lid kit is a fast track to a home accessory that’ll go the distance, and you didn’t even have to leave the house to get it!
Oh, and it looks darn smart too - but then a shiny old tin can has always been one of my fave household items!
