The designers over at ♥ Envirosax have got it sussed when it comes to smart solutions to wasteful habits.
Taking aim at throwaway lunch and takeaway bags, their super chic Minisax is out to replace lunchtime rubbish with a handy, compact alternative that can be used over and over.
Made from Envirosax’s RPET fabric - a mix of 55% flat filament polyester and 45% Repreve® polyester (Repreve® is certifiably made from 100% recycled plastic) - the Minisax it’s fitted with an internal pocket: use it to stow takeaway coffees and when you’re done, fold the sax down into the pocket to be tucked away for next time - genius, no?

There’s something exceptionally day dreamy in the earthy tones and soft forms of Dress Me Up’s organic baby accessories.
Owner and designer Tressa Brotsky’s original artwork has been printed onto organic cotton in her new line of cloth balls, each of which has been hand stuffed with Canadian lamb’s wool.

The balls are a playful compliment to the charming Rabbit Rattle, a minimalist vision of organic cotton and lamb’s wool that has a wee wooden ball nestled in his stomach to amuse baby with its gentle jangle. I can’t say what it is, but I really feel compelled to reach out and grab this bunny, he’s so appealing!

Other highlights include the super adorable and very stylish Leaf Bib, one of the most delightful takes on this baby essential I’ve seen.
Dress Me Up’s range is even more lovable when you discover that each and every item is handmade in Canada by a small cottage industry of crafty mums!

It’s an unfortunate truth that some pregnant women don’t so much radiate as combust during pregnancy, and of course motherhood itself does little for our skin’s appearance, hec, our appearance in general. Naturally, it’d be wonderful if we had a personal aesthetician at hand to nurture and polish our skin to glowing form; failing that having an organically pure line of scrumptious products created by an aesthetician is definitely as good as.
♥ Mambino Organics is just that. Developed by top West Hollywood facialist Maki Maodus (of the Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa), this line is here to put some lustre back into our largest organ. Processed at low temps to keep the ingredients active, the range is chemical and preservative free, making it totally safe for mums to be and their babies!

My tip? Start with the ‘youth glow omega face complex’, a divine pairing of natural oils and citrus scent that leaves skin velvety; I love to put it on just for the smell of it! Then pamper that bump with ‘oh baby! belly butter’, chock fill of luscious botanicals (shea, cocoa and mango butter are a few) to ward against stretch marks. Finally, light up a pomegranate, red grapefruit and wild berries blended ‘summer in tuscany’ organic soy candle for a triple bliss out!
When you do turn your attention back to baby, spoil her too with the zinc free ‘little bottoms baby ointment’ and ‘tippy toes ultra gentle baby oil’, the latter a terrific nut free formula for all round care, but also fantastic for cradle cap, something I personally tested last week!
I’ve merely touched on one shelf of ♥ Mambino Organics’ earth friendly goodies, you can view the rest of the cupboard over at ♥ ecobabe.
