Here’s a crazy cool idea that’s going to have your little miss in a complete fizz of excitement .. there’s dressing up, there’s dolls, there’s dressing up dolls and if you combine the whole thing, well then you’ve got a ♥ Lotty Dotty interactive t-shirt!

An inspired new concept, the organic tees are hand screen printed with one of five dolls: Lia, Zoe, Maya, Lola and Mimi, who can be dressed up in an array of interchangeable eco cool outfits.

The Parisian based label was co-founded by two US women, Maya Persaud and Shevanne Helmer, who in a bid to create a socially responsible company dreamed up the unique ‘several tees in one’ concept; a fashionably funky way to get more wear out of our clothes! The detachable mini-collections for the dolls are not only made of leftover or organic fabrics wherever possible, they also serve as a showcase of new design talent: each is handmade by up and coming designers from around the world!

And the fun’s not just for littlies, women’s tees are available too, plus Lotty Dotty have released a special edition tee to raise money for breast cancer research. The Susan G Komen for the Cure® design features a super sweet tennis inspired white dress, accented with pink belt and bow and is on sale until 1st September.

Layers of Cool

If this post looks like a gratuitous opportunity to post some cute pics of kids - well, would there be any point in denying it? I mean seriously, how adorable can one be?!

But returning to the fashion aspect - as I must - the organic onesies this cutie pie wears happen to be worth a glance on their stylish merits alone. Not your average baby and kids wear, the Los Angeles made line features some amazing colours: pomegranate and a gob smackingly yummy violet introduce kids to a world beyond pastels - hallelujah!

A new label created by Californian couple
Chara and Dave Josias, a fashion industry veteran and production designer/photographer respectively, the tees and onesies feature some pretty rocking graphics teamed with complimentary quotes: “Fashions Fade, Style is Eternal”, Yves St. Laurent (Marie Antoinette onesie, very top) and “I shut my eyes in order to see”, Paul Gauguin (Buddha Tee, above) - and give the pieces extra layers of cool!

lalamonde-line-baby-ballet-slippers

I‘ve gone la la over this Etsy seller ♥ before and now I’ve spied LaLa! Monde’s handmade 100% linen baby ballet shoes, I’m drooling all over again. What can I say about ballet? I was enrolled for a brief stint in my wee years and my performance was, er somewhat challenged. Downright awful. In later years the ballet was ditched in favour of a stint at BMX racing, at which I also consistently under wowed - though at least this time I was enjoying my awfulness!

But I digress. The point is my admiration of a delicate ballet shoe has not been dimmed: I have got a huge crush on these lovely toe tappers! Available in sizing from 3 to 12 months, they can be tied with a front bow or laced around the ankle ballet style.
