Super pretty, this coral bracelet is guaranteed to charm the little girl in your life, but what makes this piece of arm candy extra special is the charities its sale directly supports.
Eco retailer ♥ cornflowerblue spends a dollar from the sale of all its products to set up and run charity projects; just recently they were able to use money they’d raised to help a group of Mumbai women graduate from a three month beauty therapy course.

With all the plastic accessories being targeted at our daughters, its lovely to have a handmade option that gives joy to them and opportunity to women in other countries. cornflowerblue’s ‘jewelles’ range is handmade in the Northern beaches of Sydney.

Next to totes, cushions are one of my fave items .. don’t ask why and don’t be surprised if you start seeing a lot of ‘pillow posts’ on GUG; I’m on a decor hunt and the eco finds so far have been fabulous!
I offer visual proof in the form of these two quirky and fun creations from Chocolate Creative! Hand crafted by UK designer Margarita Lorenzo, each is meticulously made from organic cotton or eco hemp using silk screen printing, digital prints and appliques to create soulful pieces that combine glamour with heart.
And while this post is meant to highlight goodies for grownups, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t draw your attention to her retro look organic kids’ cushions:
Chocolate Creative’s cushions are sold with feather inserts, but only the pillow covers are available for purchase outside of the UK.

Made from recycled Japanese paper, ♥ Madame Mo’s Arigato print is a stunning way to enliven your child’s wall with a little cultural charm. Glowing in dandelion yellow, the perky illustration introduces children to Japanese language, phonetically translating arigato into French and English.

And the fun has only just begun. For the ultimate in silly - and like the kids, I love silly! - this organic Flying Carp adds the perfect note of playful nonsense to decors; at 70cm long she can be hung from ceilings, door recesses, anywhere you’d love to see her fly!
Traditionally placed outside Japanese homes during the Festival of Children, the koinobori (carp-flag) is believed to bring prosperity, joy and health .. all the more reason to bring this delightful decoration into your child’s play area.

Brush their teeth with yoghurt containers and serve up their snacks in apple green margarine tubs and you’ll be taking a big step towards keeping rubbish out of landfills. Really.
Concerned the plethora of recycled packaging wasn’t actually being recycled, founder Eric Hudson decided to create products, the basics people really need: toothbrushes, razors, food storage, by reusing existing resources. ♥ Preserve’s Gimme 5 program rounds up type #5 plastics; takeaway, yoghurt, margerine containers and others, then recycles them into earth friendly, BPA free accessories.
The result, entirely recycled and recyclable products that’ll clean up the earth and our teeth in a few considered brush strokes.

I‘m rather spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting images from The Craft Pantry’s lovely handmade lunch bags and totes. Cammie Cole’s Fine Art training has found a fabulously sustainable outlet via her quirky bags and a line of recycled paper goods: the Thank You Dahling! cards are a hoot!
Stop by and take a look at her 100% organic cotton ♥ fruit and veg bags too, every household would benefit from some of these!

Norwegian label Lilleba’s bamboo and soyabean clothes are an adorably chic example of why Scandinavian design excites the senses so: understated yet striking, soft yet bold. Oh, and always fun!
Alternate pieces in the super smart range benefit from either the heat regulating and UV 50+ protective properties of soyabean or the wicking and anti-bacterial/fungal properties of bamboo, giving parents a naturally hypoallergenic clothing choice for their children that’s as big on style as it is safety.

Lilleba is the creative melding of graphic designer Nina Elkerol and clothing designer Silje Sivertsen, and includes wear for babies to older kids; their gorgeous prints also adorn lovely bedding sets, bibs and breastfeeding pads.
For a dose of extra cute, eco mamas can match their mini charges in Lilleba’s nighties and leggings for adults!
